Shealie's Story

Meet Shealie, a happy, little two-year-old Beagle adopted through the Bellwether Harbor Animal Shelter. She was perfectly matched with her new family, which includes Jay, Janice, and their four children, Joey, Maggie, Molly, and Jack.

The outdoors is one of Shealie’s favorite places. She loves her daily walks and running in the backyard. Shealie’s favorite toys are a stuffed animal and a tennis ball, which she plays with while outside. The kids enjoy playing ball with her, and also share the responsibility of taking her for walks every day. She has learned to sit very still when she hears food pouring into her bowl and waits for her “free” command to run and eat. Shealie loves her family and loves learning new tricks!
